IFA 2015

You will be viewing this blog on some sort of tech, right? Possibly a mobile device as it is more convenient. In more and more cases tech is now so involved in our lives that it would be hard to imagine what life would be like it if it wasn’t around (unless of course you are born pre-1970)

Every year at the IFA Berlin show there is whole plethora of new tech launched to ‘improve’ or ‘enhance’ our lives. Tablets get slimmer, watches get smarter, TV’s get bigger and Things of the Internet get connected. Now, here at BBP we are all for great innovations in tech simplifying processes, enriching experiences, delivering efficiencies and improving lives. So, we thought we would take a look and pick out candidates that deserve a moment of your time.

Introducing the Smarter iKettle. This will allow you to remotely boil the kettle from your bedroom, tell you when the water is hot, remind you to refill it and let you know when it is empty. For those of you old enough to remember the teasmade (they still sell them on Amazon) this will seem like a step backwards, and a pointless one at that.

Sorry, what did you say….speakers in your rug….

Panasonic launched a full 6.1 channel sound surround experience. You can even adjust the speakers in your rug so they can be directed to people who want to listen allowing those that like to talk through a movie to do so! Space saving, aesthetically pleasing and easy to install. That’s the sound of the buy button being clicked

Binge drinking, heard of that. Binge watching, now that’s news to us. LG decided that the opportunity to watch so many different types of programs from a multitude of platforms demanded more from your viewing screen. So, best way to solve that? Make the screen 2-sided. Yep, that’s right. You can now watch two different programs, one on each side of the screen.

I know, just what you have been waiting for.
