To kick things off, we have a print advert for a Hong Kong NGO. Their work highlights the alarming upward trend of student suicides in the territory. Despite the copy being in Chinese, it instantly evokes a strong emotional response. The looming hand over the porcelain figure insinuates discomfort and fragility, while the red glow sets off alarm bells that something is awry. These thoughtful elements come together in a way that stirs the viewer into wanting to take action. Job well done.
